PURPLE POST October 2020

Hello everyone and welcome to the October edition of Purple Post

Company Update

As always, a huge thank you to all for continuing to tune in to Allan’s monthly company updates, particularly those who have been on furlough but remain positive during these difficult times. Here is the link to our Zoom meeting held on 2nd October which includes our Parenta People ‘dance of joy’ – celebrating the fantastic number of starts that we have achieved in October.

Well done to all the Sales Executives for a great month of hitting targets...and a special shout-out goes to Francesca Lincoln who has been our top performer of the month and has exceeded targets – well done Fran!

It’s NEVER too early to start thinking about Christmas!

Halloween was only last weekend, but it’s never too early to start thinking about Christmas!

Even though we are all working remotely, it doesn't matter where you are in the country – on Christmas Jumper Day on Friday 11th December, all you need to do is get your silliest jumper out and give £2 to Save the Children.

It doesn’t sound much, but your £2 will help children have food, be healthy, learn things, and change the future! You don't have to buy a new jumper. You can dig out last year's, or even take a normal jumper and add some tinsel!

So get your woollies out and make the world better with a sweater!

Sign up now to Christmas Jumper Day on Friday 11th December!

Reminder - Free COVID-19 Staying Safe Course

Don’t forget that City and Guilds has kindly given us FREE OF CHARGE access to its “COVID-19 – getting ready to return to work and staying safe” course. This is available for all Parenta staff and our learners. All learners have been reminded in their monthly newsletter, but please encourage them to take the course. It takes approx. 35 minutes to complete and you will receive a certificate on completion. Here is the link to the course
Spotlight on… Charlie Gordon
This month, we caught up with Charlie to talk to us about how she came to work for Parenta, what she loves about her job, and her recent promotion to Internal Quality Assurer (IQA).

Entice new customers with the power of testimonials!

The positive endorsements that we receive from our existing customers are not only a great way for giving praise to the individuals or teams concerned, but are used as a valuable marketing tool to attract new customers!

Please ensure that after every positive interaction you have with a customer you ask them if they would be willing to send in a short testimonial and then follow up with the usual link https://www.parenta.com/testimonial/

Here are a few lovely testimonials received in October from our learners
 – a special shout-out goes to Samantha Davey and Pippa Cain this month!

Webinar success
October’s webinar, open to all those who work in childcare to help them navigate their way through these difficult times was a huge success. Focusing on going paperless, effective planning and being ready for Ofsted, it received a record number of registrations. Thank you to Richelle Sparks and Fiona Spencer for their fantastic input!

Keep those high fives coming!

Thanks to all those who have been giving kudos throughout the month – please keep it going, it’s important now more than ever to give each other a deserved ‘pat on the back’. We have a winner for October – Hannah Moore – congratulations Hannah!

Don't forget you can start voting for our November employee of the month already. Keep that Kudos coming and please give recognition for all the hard work our colleagues are doing.

Welcome to:

Leah Gilbert
