Hello everyone and welcome to the September edition of Purple Post.
Don’t fall foul of this email scam!
A few colleagues have received the email below asking for their phone number. Please note this is NOT Allan that has sent this (see the sender’s emails address).
Please do be careful of what information you are giving and to whom.
Message from the People team
We hope that you are all keeping safe and well! As per the announcement from Allan during his company update, we will continue to work from home and have stopped all visits into settings until further notice. We have added a ‘training zone’ to the People section of the intranet, please do go and check it out and don’t forget to have a look at the wellness centre too – there are lots of useful podcasts on there.
Company update
As always, a big thank you to all for tuning in to the monthly company updates, particularly those who are still on furlough but remain positive during these difficult times.
Here is the link to our Zoom meeting, held on 23rd September:
Spotlight on… Jacqueline McDowall
We spoke to Jackie about how she came to work for Parenta, what she loves about her job, and her recent promotion to Internal Quality Assurer (IQA).
Job retention scheme replacement and extension of SEISS
The government has launched a new Job Support Scheme (to replace the existing furlough scheme) and an extension of the Self Employment Income Support Scheme (SEISS) – which you can apply for if you are, or have been, a member of the LLP.
Further details can be found on the government’s website here.
Entice new customers with the power of testimonials!
The positive endorsements that we receive from our existing customers are not only a great way for giving praise to the individuals or teams concerned, but are used as a valuable marketing tool to attract new customers!
Please ensure that after every positive interaction you have with a customer you ask them if they would be willing to send in a short testimonial and then follow up with the usual link
https://www.parenta.com/testimonial/
Here are a couple of lovely testimonials we received in September
- well done Linda and Jamie, keep up the good work!
“Linda Alexander was my saviour! She gave me support throughout and if I had any questions, she was always there at the end of the phone or an email. Nothing was too much for Linda and with her help and support, I am now level 3 qualified.”
Natalie Morris, Shining Pandas Nursery
“I can’t say enough words the support I get from Jamie. He has time, patience and a fab sense of humour. He never makes me feel silly for not getting it and his patience is 2nd to none. You have an amazing employee there!!”
Sam Conway, Winterbourne Preschool
