Following on from our inaugural Mental Health Awareness week, we have created this permanent page for Parenta People to access information and support.
The Mental Health Foundation hosted Mental Health Awareness Week promoting the theme of Kindness. During these unprecedented times, this appeared a relevant and powerful theme, illustrating that an act of kindness even in the smallest dose can have a significant positive impact on someone.
In keeping with the theme of kindness, we found some valuable resources that help could improve our mental well-being.

In the UK 1 in 4 of us will experience some kind of mental health issue in our lifetime.
It is important that if you need help or support that you reach out to your friends, family and ask for support.
If you are concerned about yours or anyone else's mental health you should seek the advice and support of your GP as a matter of priority. If you are in distress and need immediate help and are unable to see a GP, you should visit your local A&E.
