Let’s dive in!
Childcare SuperHero Hits #1 on Amazon!
A huge achievement! Allan Presland’s Childcare SuperHero – Transforming Your Childcare Business, shot to number one in THREE Amazon categories on launch day!
For those of you who haven’t yet taken a look, the book blends practical strategies with relatable storytelling, following fictional nursery owner Amanda Hawkins as she tackles real-world challenges in early years settings.
Aimed at helping providers thrive - not just survive - Childcare SuperHero is packed with tools to boost profitability, improve team culture, and secure long-term success. The accompanying online course, The Childcare Business Blueprint, launches this month to help bring the book’s lessons to life.

TEAM UPDATES
Kirsty Taylor, Training Delivery Manager
We have lots of exciting things to celebrate in the South Team!! The fact that we have secured a 65% QAR so far is phenomenal! And we can see that 70% in sight - a huge achievement for you all. I am very proud of how hard you have worked to get here. HUGE thank you to all of you!
We also have a few team celebrations ... First up is our beautiful bride, Claire Emptage, who recently got married. Congratulations, Claire, on becoming a Mrs, and now to get used to not planning anything (except your completions of course, ha-ha!)

And secondly, we have a very proud mum on the team, celebrations for Sarah Briginshaw, who has seen her daughter graduate from Cardiff University with a Bachelor of Adult Nursing degree and has already secured a job at Cardiff University Hospital as a haematology/oncology nurse!! Sarah can celebrate that her daughter can now finally pay her own way and is able to plan her own holiday for next year! 😊
Sarah Ellis, Quality Manager
I would like to say a HUGE thank you to our amazing IQAs for the work they have been doing with completions. They have worked tirelessly processing and clearing actions, with lots of pre-sampling to support moving learners through to EPA. Remarkable work, ladies!

Layla MacFadyen – Training Advice and Guidance Manager
I would like to say a huge thank you to all who came into the office and helped with our recruitment campaign. Kylie and Anna have so much passion for their roles in helping settings and apprentices in the Early Years sector, and it has been amazing to be a part of making the campaign happen. The idea of the campaign is to get more nurseries in the Birmingham area on board and using our recruitment service – we have plenty of candidates, but not enough settings, so please spread the word about our fabulous recruitment team! We are also expecting to see more training, software, and website sign-ups from the campaign. The hard work has only just begun – the recruitment team will be following up on all of the packs sent out to the settings and will be showcasing why they should choose Parenta!
New Funding Rules:
During August, the Sales and TA team will be following the new funding rules! We would like to say a special thank you to Jo for her training videos and support with this.
Richelle Sparks - Head of Sales & Customer Experience
I would like to say goodbye and thank you to Paul Burton who has been a great member of the team. And congratulations to Anna Joergenson on her promotion to Recruiter – we wish her the best of luck in her new role. Finally, I would like to say goodbye and thank you to Rohit, who is moving to MIS – best of luck in your new role too!
Lorraine White - MIS & Compliance Manager
Our lovely Harpreet Summan will be going on Maternity leave in August to have her baby boy – we wish her the best of luck!
We’re excited to welcome Rohit Chamber, who will be joining our team as the new Audit Coordinator.
We have had 2 new starters this month – Lily Spring and Hannah Mohammed. They are our Communication and Compliance Support Officers and will be working with MIS and Delivery to support all things relating to a compliant portfolio.

“The support I’ve received from the company throughout my Level 3 course, as well as in my Maths and English, has been great. I’m especially grateful to my tutor, who has been my biggest supporter from the very start. She’s always believed in me, even when I doubted myself, and her encouragement has made a real difference in my confidence and progress. I truly couldn’t have done it without her guidance and belief in my abilities.”
Tammy J
"I am nearly at the end of training for my level 5 in child care and management and have had a tricky experience to start with but since my Tutor, it has completely changed. She has been able to offer so much support and talks to me in a manner that I can then apply to my work. Can't thank Parenta enough for everything."
Lucy B
“My experience of online training at Parenta has been very positive. The tutors are very professional and knowledgeable, and gave me the flexibility to fit in my training around my other job, motherhood! Queries were answered promptly, and there was great support both during the training period and when preparing for the exams. I would definitely advocate using Parenta if you are considering doing an online training course.”
Savannah C
“I have just completed my Level 3 Childcare qualification with a distinction – and honestly, I couldn’t have done it without my incredible tutor. She was with me every step of the way, always going above and beyond. Her support, feedback and belief in me made all the difference. Even when I was doubting myself, she kept me focused, motivated and actually made the whole experience enjoyable. She made complicated things feel simple and gave me the confidence I needed, especially in my professional discussion. She’s an absolute legend and a huge reason I did so well! A huge thank you to Parenta and my tutor.”
Aliya Y
“Parenta helped me to achieve what I had set out to do, although I doubted myself several times. My Tutor was always there to support me, every step of the way. I always had my training sessions on time and received ample time to complete my tasks. If ever due to certain personal circumstances, I could not complete my assignments on time, Parenta and my Tutor would understand my situation and give me an extension. I feel I have come out of this process more confident and have a better understanding of my job role as an Early Years Practitioner. So, thank you, Parenta, for supporting me, with the result that I have decided to do my Level 3 with you as well!”
Caitlin G
“My Tutor was wonderful, who supported me throughout my time. She was always so supportive, kind and calm and always helped to put my mind at ease. She was very informative and talked me through every step in a way I understood and really helped me grow and develop not only as a practitioner but also a person and I’m really grateful to have had a tutor like Parenta provided and I was super lucky to have her!”
Well Done, Keep Them Coming!
