PURPLE POST - November 2025
Welcome to the November issue of Purple Post!
November brings plenty to celebrate – from new team members and learner achievements to stories of kindness and community spirit.
This month, we’re delighted to welcome our brand-new Pastoral Coach Team, who will play a key role in supporting learners right from the start of their journey. They will be strengthening learner engagement and ensuring every learner feels heard, valued, and supported.
We’re also celebrating incredible success stories across our teams – from distinctions and qualifications to service milestones and even new arrivals (welcome, baby Cooper!).
Don’t forget to mark your calendars for our next webinar on 18th November, featuring the brilliant Dr Sue Roffey, and take a look at this month’s terrific testimonials and we have resources to support your work with learners and settings.
TEAM UPDATES
Kirsty Taylor – Training Delivery Manager, South Region

- As it starts to get cold and rainy, the South team are still staying on fire with their busy diaries, seeing their learners and making sure we are wrapping a warm hand around them with the support we are giving! We have seen some amazing reviews come through, along with Naomi getting a L5 learner through with a Distinction after the learner was feeling very overwhelmed and at first unsupported. Well-done Naomi!
- Mandy Skinner is going on a long-overdue anniversary trip of a lifetime across America!! We look forward to seeing those pictures in November!
- As we head into November, we are still working hard to bring our learners in for completion before the festivities start, and our settings start to get very busy! Keep up the good work, South Team - you are all amazing!
- In addition to the Training and Delivery team, we have now welcomed our Pastoral Coach team!! Huge welcome to Kirsten Hopkins – Regional Support, Jessica Swingle – Supporting London/Essex, Donna Bennett – Supporting Central, Angela Hulme – Supporting South and Stephanie McCourt – Supporting North.
- The Pastoral team are going to be instrumental in bridging the gap in our learners’ early journey from enrolment to meeting their permanent Early Years tutor. They will be the ear and voice of the learner from the start, and onwards. They will also be part of us excelling in learner engagement and really breaking down any barriers for our learners. This is going to be a huge game-changer in demonstrating the remarkable service we give to our learners and employers at Parenta. We are very excited to see the impact; this amazing team of superheroes are going to make across delivery! Huge welcome, ladies!
Charlie Gordon – Training Delivery Manager – London and the Southeast Region
We’re thrilled to share some lovely news and celebrations this month!
- Congratulations to Amy Clifton, who welcomed her beautiful baby boy, Cooper Teddy Allen, on Sunday, 5th October - we’re so happy for her and her family!
- A warm welcome to Jessica Swingle, who has joined our team as our new Pastoral Coach - we’re excited to have you on board!
- Congratulations to Sara Esposito, who is celebrating 2 years of service with Parenta this month.
Thank you for all your hard work and dedication!

Sarah Ellis – Quality Manager
- Huge congratulations to Harry Wren on completing his CAVA qualification. This is a great achievement – well done!
- Recently, Kim rescued 3 kittens! She cared for them through the night, has been a taxi back and forth to the vets, and provided everything they could need. This is just a small part of the amazing work Kim does outside of working here at Parenta. Kim also runs a charity kevincares2018. When she isn’t sampling, processing completions or providing support to tutors, you will find her raising money to support pets in need. She runs various raffles on her social media page and, through the summer months, often spends her weekends attending events. Kim is never far from a furry friend!

"I’ve used Parenta as our training provider for several years now, and they just keep getting better. What makes them ultimately amazing is their tutors who go above and beyond to ensure that their students succeed! Ive had the pleasure in working with several tutors, and they are equally all fantastic. If you are looking for a training provider who will work with you from start to finish - dont look anywhere else, Parenta is the company to chose!"

"I had really lovely tutors supporting me through my level 3. My first tutor I got to see more at the start and she was so lovely and supportive, making sure she has done a method of learning that is most effective for me. I really appreciated that so thank you. My last tutor then came and helped support me close to the end of my level 3. She was amazing and made me feel comfortable straight away when meeting her for the first time. She made sure to follow the way I learnt best so it was all the same. She was so lovely and supportive too. I really appreciated that so thank you. Both tutors are really sweet and genuinely showed lots of care towards me and giving me a positive feeling about my work. Thank you both again."

"Completing the L5 Early Years Lead Practitioner apprenticeship has been a deep professional development journey. I have learnt so much in the field of child development including theorists, curriculum, pedagogy. This has helped strenghten the capacity and competence of our team and ultimately the quality of our provision to our children and families. A key point throughout my journey was having my tutor. I will always be grateful to her. She had the right pedagogy for my learning style and kept motivating me. THANK YOU! This DISTINCTION is also yours. Be blessed."
Cindy V
"Did my Level 2 & 3 with Parenta, which I felt supported throughout my experience. My Tutor during my Level 3 was so supportive, and at times of wanting to throw the towel in, she was right there to pick me up and see me through it."
Rheannan M
"My tutor was helpful and explained anything I didn't quite understand before my Level 3 course. The Parenta website was easy to navigate and the secondary resources were useful."
Helena B
"Course content is on point, interesting and beneficial to the job. The webinars are very interesting with helpful information that can be utilised, they are also of perfect length for staff in ratio.
The tutors support and guidance is invaluable."
Well Done, Keep Them Coming!
