Parenta's 25th Anniversary Conference & Gala!

This is THE month, Parenta People! We hope everyone is excited about getting together for our 25th Anniversary Conference and Gala Celebration. We are dusting off our dancing shoes and getting our glad rags ready for the evening celebrations, but before that, during the day, we will be participating in team activities, and being inspired by our fabulous guest speaker. Not long to go now!

Thank you to all who have sent in their photos from 25 years ago, there are some absolute gems! Thank you too, to all the teams who made the effort to record their videos, we are very much looking forward to sharing with everyone on the day!

The event will be an exceptional occasion for us all to unite and commemorate our accomplishments, reconnect with colleagues, meet new colleagues, and relish an unforgettable evening together.

Team Updates

Kirsty Taylor, Training Delivery Manager, South Team

April has been a busy month with lots of productive conversations on how to review our ways of working - and looking at how to improve our processes. As a team, our main focus is bringing our lovely learners into EPA and more qualified practitioners into the Early Years sector.

During May, we will have the same focus to ensure we drive that QAR data up!

I want to thank every single one of my team for their continued dedication and how they are striving to succeed. It is a true testament to the passion you have and the commitment you give to your learners, this does not go unrecognised nor unappreciated - so THANK YOU 😊

Sarah Ellis, Quality Manager

We are still processing completions to support QAR, and the IQAs are working hard to process these once they arrive in the inbox. A huge well done to the South region, where we are seeing an increase in completions going through with no IQA actions – this is AMAZING!

A massive well done to Jane for processing the most completions in March, a great achievement for someone just two months into the role 😊

Emma Harris, Functional Skills and ALS Manager

We have a maths exam window week of 7th May and learners are currently attending workshops and working towards this exam date.

FS tutors are now being regionalised, which means each region will have a dedicated maths and English tutor. ALN learners will remain with their ALS tutors.

The testimonials are continuing to delight us - what truly Remarkable work!

April’s winner is ….drum roll…. Tonni Linton-Williams - We hope you enjoy spending your £50 Amazon voucher!

Who else wants to win a £50 Amazon gift card?

We're thrilled to share that we've been receiving fantastic testimonials from our learners, employers, and settings. It's truly heart-warming to see such positive feedback! While we'd love to list them all, there are just too many to fit

Riyad Hamid

“My tutor has been an amazing source of guidance and support on my journey to becoming a nursery practitioner. Tonni has provided me with extensive knowledge and experience in the field and can break down complex concepts into manageable chunks. Her passion for teaching and dedication to students' success like me is remarkable. They have equipped me with practical skills, made me feel supported and empowered throughout my learning journey, and boosted my confidence and competence in my role as a nursery practitioner. I highly recommend Tonni to anyone pursuing a career in early childhood education.”

Angie Cardona

“I liked doing my apprenticeship with Parenta, and Tonni, my tutor, has been very helpful throughout my apprenticeship.”

Dali Paul

“Very good and helpful.”

Hope Sabwisa

“At first, I struggled using OneFile but with the support of the team from Parenta I was able to understand how to navigate it. Each of my lectures was interactive and very helpful. It was nice knowing I had the support of my lecturers as they would message me with advice and give me notes about my tasks. Most importantly, it was comforting knowing I had the support of my tutor Tonni. Tonni was very patient with me and gave me all the tips I needed to succeed, she always looked out for my best interest and pushed me to do my best. I knew I was always able to contact her about any questions or concerns.”

Bronte Alexander

“I am very happy with Denise and would want her for my Level 3. She is always there when I have a question and is very friendly.”

Denise Brown

“Denise is a fantastic assessor. Her communication is great and she really ensures that as employers we know how our staff are getting on with their training. She looks at each learner as an individual and gets to know what works for them and applies this to how she supports them to become qualified.”

Lamce Alba

“Parenta has been instrumental in my early childhood education journey for the past two years, supporting me from achieving my Level 2 to now pursuing my Level 3 qualification. My tutor is very charismatic, and I love the energy she gives me and the confidence she inspires in me. The dedicated team at Parenta, from tutors to administrative staff, has provided invaluable support and guidance throughout my learning journey. Parenta offers well-structured and comprehensive courses that are delivered with clarity, making the learning process engaging and effective.”

Rosina Abbatecola

“I think Parenta has been amazing for me helping me and letting me get through all my courses even my tutor Tonni she is brilliant.”

Well done, keep them coming!
