The 25th anniversary conference & gala is being held at The Village Hotel in Maidstone.


How do I get to The Village Hotel?

Full address: Castle View, Forstal Road, Sandling, Maidstone, Kent ME14 3AQ


By car:

Situated just off the M20 and A229 roundabout, exit the M20 on junction 6.


Parking:

Monday - Thursday:  Free up to 4 hours, then local charges may apply thereafter.

Friday - Sunday: Free from 5:00pm Friday to 3:00pm on Sundays. Chargeable thereafter.


By train:

The closest train station is Aylesford Train Station which is 2.2 miles away or Maidstone East station.

  • How are we letting our customers/learners know we are out of the office for the day?

    Yes and we are communicating about our Safeguarding contacts on the day.

  • What is the dress code?

    Day Event – Business wear

    Evening Event – Black tie/evening wear


  • Can I take my laptop to the conference?

    No laptops allowed. We will communicate this with all learners and employers.

  • Are we allowed to have our work or personal mobile phones switched on?

    No, customers will be told and all personal mobiles phones need to be on silent throughout the day.

  • Who will I be sitting with?

    Day event: Mixed teams


    Evening event: Your team


    On arrival please see the table plan.

  • Will food and drinks be provided?

    Yes, unlimited tea, coffee, juice will be provided.


    If you have booked a room for Thursday/Friday night, your room booking will include a complimentary breakfast.


    Friday lunch and dinner will be provided.


    You will also recieve a complimentary drink on arrival in the evening.

  • When is check in and check out at the Hotel?

    Check in is 3:00pm, there is a self-check in option available as well


    Check out is by 11:00am 


  • Is breakfast included in my room booking?

    If you’ve requested a room booking, a buffet breakfast is included for each night. 


    The Village Hotel offers breakfast from:

    Monday to Friday: 6:30am – 9:30am

    Saturday & Sunday: 7:30am – 10.30am


  • Do I get dinner included if I'm staying on Thursday night?

    If you are staying at the hotel on the night of Thursday 9th, you can order a meal in the bar, up to the value of £20 which you can claim back on expenses.

  • Do I have access to the gym, swimming pool, sauna etc. if I’m staying the night?

    Yes, this is included.

  • Does the hotel accept cash or card?

    Please be aware the hotel is cashless.
