PURPLE POST FEBRUARY 2020

Our Standards journey is well underway!
We have created easy-to-follow steps to help settings through the process and make creating Government Gateway I.D and Government Gateway Apprentice Account to manage their apprenticeships as simple as possible!

And remember together we can make a difference so let's make sure that we take the right candidates on from the start and support each learner throughout their course to ensure we can get the maximum return for each learner of £6000!
Our Head of Quality and Curriculum debates in Parliament
Lisa Roper represented Parenta when she attended the Houses of Parliament earlier this week to lobby for more Levy funding for SME's.

Nursery World London Exhibition
Richelle and Amelia had a busy two days at Nursery World London on 7th and 8th February when they demonstrated how we provide software and training solutions and generated 39 warm leads for us to follow up. We shall also be exhibiting at Childcare Expo in London on 20th and 21st March – photos to follow in next month’s Purple Post!
Achievements now in Parent Portal and changes to historic Dayshare activity reports in Abacus
Settings can now delight parents with any certificates a child has achieved in Footsteps 2 in their Parent Portal newsfeed. What better way to make a parent’s day than them seeing in their newsfeed when something new and wonderful has been achieved by their child?

Historic copies of Dayshare activity emails in Abacus have grown significantly over the years. Due to this, all activity reports created in Dayshare will now be live for a year for settings to view.

Staff referral competition!

During the month of March we will be running a competition and the member of staff with the highest number of referrals will win £50 Love2Shop vouchers. Please keep spreading the word! Here is the link.

Resources

In response to the many requests we are getting, just a reminder that all Parenta resources to help our learners and settings can be found right here on our staff intranet all in one place.

Have a look at our latest 'How to guide' Managing your work-life balance: essential reading for apprentices here.

Please don’t underestimate the importance of testimonials

Please ensure that after every positive interaction you have with a customer you ask them if they would be willing to send in a short testimonial and then follow up with the link:
