In this month's Purple Post.... the Software Development team give us an update on what they've been working on, the People Team have some feedback from the recent mental health webinar, and the recent Ofsted webinar that we held is really insightful - do watch it when you get a moment!

An update from the Software Development team:

Here is a short summary of the projects that we have been working on over the past couple of months:

  • Engagement and consultation with Footsteps customers about the impact of EYFS changes on our system.
  • We ran a Q&A session with customers last week with some very positive feedback and findings
  • We have been working on Project Titan, initiated by Allan, running studies around software development, delivery and commercialization - we have focused on existing customers in our first study.
  • We worked on small enhancements in Dayshare and maintainance fixes on Footsteps, Abacus , Parent Portal, Dayshare and Back Office
  • We have welcomed back Paul Morris-Hill this week
Message from the People Team
Hello all,

Thank you to all who were able to attend the webinar with Aviva and the Mental Health Team, we hope that you found it informative and helpful!

We will send out the link to the webinar and resources from the presentation shortly.

The session prompted some great questions and so we prepared FAQ’s which you will find listed below:

  • Can I add a family member to my policy?

Yes, please send through to HR support the person’s name, address, and DOB, this includes if you would like to add your children. We will get a quote for you from Aviva.

  • What is the number for the stress line?

The number for the stress line is 0800 158 3349, this is a 24 hour number with medically trained counsellors, you can access this help even if you have a pre-existing medical condition.

  • I’m worried about calling them, can my partner do it for me?

Yes, you will be able to get your partner/family member/friend/colleague to start a claim for you, all they will do is ensure that this is ok with you.

  • Will Parenta know if I have accessed the Mental Health Support through Aviva?

No, this is very confidential, Parenta will not know who has accessed for help and support.

  • I don’t like talking to people, is there another way that I can do this?

Yes, Aviva now have a live chat option, you will be able to access help through this platform.

Did you know?
The Big Lunch is on the 5th - 6th June!

The event is run by the Eden Project and is the biggest annual event focused on bringing the local community together and socialising with neighbours.

This year it will be a bit different for obvious reasons, but there are plenty of ways in which you can get involved and reconnect with your neighbours. Even if it is just a few neighbours sat in their front gardens together or having a big street party, the warm weather predicted will give you even more opportunities to socialise outside.

To get involved see the information pack here.
