PURPLE POST May 2021
A warm welcome to the May edition of Purple Post
We hope you have all had a wonderful, warm bank holiday weekend; and enjoyed being allowed to sit in restaurants again!
In this month's Purple Post.... the Software Development team give us an update on what they've been working on, the People Team have some feedback from the recent mental health webinar, and the recent Ofsted webinar that we held is really insightful - do watch it when you get a moment!
An update from the Software Development team:
Here is a short summary of the projects that we have been working on over the past couple of months:
- Engagement and consultation with Footsteps customers about the impact of EYFS changes on our system.
- We ran a Q&A session with customers last week with some very positive feedback and findings
- We have been working on Project Titan, initiated by Allan, running studies around software development, delivery and commercialization - we have focused on existing customers in our first study.
- We worked on small enhancements in Dayshare and maintainance fixes on Footsteps, Abacus , Parent Portal, Dayshare and Back Office
- We have welcomed back Paul Morris-Hill this week
Ask Ofsted webinar
We hosted a Q&A Session with Ofsted on the 14th May. We invited early years professionals to send in their burning questions and they did - we had over 500 sign ups - our best yet!
Special guests Wendy Ratcliff HMI and Phil Minns HMI answered the hot topic questions we had been receiving from the industry throughout the month. You can watch it here...
We publish additional industry expert advice, news articles and crafts in our free magazine and on our blog.
