PURPLE POST June 2020

Hello everyone and welcome to the June edition of Purple Post.

The summer solstice has been and gone; we’ve had the longest day - so summer is officially declared! We continue to work well, collaboratively, to get through these extraordinary difficult times and as lockdown measures continue to slowly relax, at last some of our settings are beginning to open.

As always, it was great to see so many of your faces at our company updates this month.

Myself and the SMT are still working hard to support everyone the best we can and keep the business running as well as it can.

Thank you all so much for your continued patience, tenacity… and above all, team work.

Things looking up for settings?

Although a great many settings are struggling with the cost-efficiency of re-opening; and the majority are nowhere near out of the woods yet, there is some encouraging news this month regarding fee collection and training leads.

  • During June, we received a 55% increase in Fee Planner collection files from nurseries which indicates that business could well be improving for them.
  • Training leads from marketing activity have risen by 100% this month against May, also indicating that perhaps, at last, things could be slowly on the up?

Update from the People team

The People team are refreshing their area of the Parenta Intranet site with new sections and a greater breadth of content. One exciting feature will be a wellbeing area, located within the People section that they will begin populating very shortly. They would love the input of all of our colleagues on what you would like to see in there. If you have any ideas that you would like to share, please email them at hrsupport@parenta.com.

Here is a lovely one received this month from a learner:
I am writing you this email to inform you about my experience with Jackie McDowall during my course. Jackie has been truly amazing and showed so much support and patience, she made me really at ease to contact her about any worries I may have. Jackie has been an enormous help and I was really lucky to have her as my assessor. I am forever grateful to her for helping me achieve my goals. Many thanks
